How do I unlock and start a vehicle?
Once you've booked a car through our mobile app, simply walk up to the vehicle and tap 'Unlock' in the app. The car will unlock automatically via Bluetooth. You'll find the keys inside the vehicle, usually in the glove compartment or centre console. To end your trip, return the keys to their designated spot and tap 'End Trip' in the app.
Can I drive across European borders?
Yes, our vehicles are equipped for cross-border travel within the EU. Your AutoBridge membership includes comprehensive insurance coverage for international trips. Simply ensure you have your driving licence and the vehicle's documentation, which you'll find in the glove compartment.
What happens if I have an accident or breakdown?
All our vehicles include comprehensive insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance. In case of an accident, contact our emergency line immediately through the app. For breakdowns, our roadside assistance will help you get back on the road or provide a replacement vehicle if needed.
How is fuel or charging handled?
For petrol vehicles, you'll receive a fuel card in the car for refuelling. For electric vehicles, we provide access to our charging network across Europe. Simply plug in when the battery is low - charging costs are included in your membership.
What are the age and licence requirements?
You must be at least 21 years old with a valid EU driving licence held for minimum 2 years. We accept licences from all EU member states. During registration, you'll need to verify your licence through our app by taking a photo of both sides.
